Movie Review

The Oscars brought this movie to my attention and then everyone at my work who saw it told me it was a must see. This is a movie rich in culture and original in it's story line. It deserves the attention it is getting. I asked before going to see it if it was a sad movie - I was told it was inspiring. I went to see the movie with my friend Joan and my mother, they both liked it but my mom did say it was a little depressing and Joan said it was sad. I thought is was unique and although I didn't cry it was intense in emotion. And yes the music is catchy- I can't get that song out of my head. I also had a huge bag of popcorn with ketchup powder and savoured the taste as it won't hit my mouth again for at least 5 months due to training for my competition which starts in less than 2 weeks.

I still think The Curious Case of Benjamin Button should have won best picture.
B gives it a B+
trailer

I'd like to see both movies.

Changing the subject: B, when you get a chance, stop by my site to pick up an award.

The song Jai Ho is stuck in my head. The movie is quite violent but like you said B, anyone who read Fine Balance and other books like that know culturally it is a violent and unfair life.

I definitely need to go see this....several people have recommended it, but really I just prefer super happy girly movies--although those usually are not the best movies, if you know what I mean.

I am impressed with your dedication and excitement about training.....
